Inter School Carom Competition.
4th May, 2023
Very Special Arts India organized an Inter School Carom Competition. Aslam & Aquib, Amir & Mukesh participated in senior and junior group respectively. The Senior group won first prize! All the student were given a gift, medal and certificates.
Rangoli Making & Hamper Decoration Competition.
28th April, 2023
Organized by Very Special Arts India, Amber & Ankit Rajora, Sabir & Manisha participated in the Rangoli & Hamper Decoration Competition in the senior and junior groups respectively. Okhla Centre School won the first prize in both the events! All the student were given a gift, medal and certificates.
6th RUN 4 CAUSE event.
16th April, 2023
Dr. Lal Singh Foundation organized the 6th RUN 4 CAUSE event at the Thyagraj Stadium. 27 students along with 4 staff members participated in this event. All the students were given a goody bag, T-shirt, cap, medal and participation certificates.
Inter School Football Match.

Okhla Centre School organized an Inter School Football Match. Our students played with the students of Deepalaya Special School.
Art Carnival at the
Kiran Nadar Museum

To celebrate Autism Awareness Day, 10 students from different sections participated in the Art Carnival organized by Action for Autism at the Kiran Nadar Museum. Amit Jha's art on display.
Inter School Badminton Match.

Okhla Centre School organized an Inter School Badminton Match. Our students played with the students of CGC, Jamia.
World Down Syndrome Day.
21th March, 2023
This day is celebrated every year as 'World Down Syndrome Day' advocating for the rights, inclusion and wellbeing of people with Down Syndrome around the world. To mark the occasion, the students of D.Ed IDD participated in a poster making competition. The TTI students also presented a skit on adoption of a special child to create awareness on Different Disabilities. Mr. Praval Yadav, Senior Special educator at the MCD School attended our program and discussed the current issues related to children having Down Syndrome. Our school students also participated in this program. The TTI & school students presented a dance performance together.

Inter School Bocce Match.

Okhla Centre School organized an Inter School Bocce Match. Our students played with the students of Cheshire Home.
Seminar on 'Challenges in the Management of children with Special needs'.
3rd March, 2023
Organised in memory of Late Smt. Yasho Rajya Laxmi at India Islamic Culture Centre. Dr. Karan Singh, the guest of honour along with chief guest Mrs. Neelam Jolly, the founder of Vishwas Foundation and other Board Members were present on this occasion. The three speakers Dr. Om Ramesh, Dr. Mir Shahid Ali and Dr. Nimish G. Desai spoke on different topics. Around 300, Rehabilitation Professionals, Special Education students and parents attended the program. All the Participants appreciated the information gained from the seminar and further expressed to have more such seminars in future.
Annual Painting Competition.
10th February, 2023
108 students from 16 schools participated in this competition. Yuvraj, Shalu and Aslam won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize in the age group of 6-12yrs, 13-17yrs and 18yrs & above respectively in severe category. In moderate category Riya won the 3rd prize and Khushi Bashita won the 2nd prize in the age group 6-12 yrs, and 13-17yrs respectively. In mild category in the age group 6-12 yrs, Sabir won the 1st prize and Sachin Yadav in 13-17yrs won the 3rd Prize. The enthusiasm and zeal with which the children participated in the competition was worth watching. Their imagination, selection of colors, clarity of thoughts and concept was marvelous. The panel of judges were Mrs. Preeti Johar & Mrs. Monica Mahajan. All the participants, students and staff were given refreshments. Okhla Centre School won the Trophy of best school as we won the maximum number of prizes.
Republic Day Celebration.
25th January 2023
The National Flag was hoisted in the presence of TTI and school staff members. Two students Afiya and Nikhil from Nursery Section unfurled the flag, School students presented a Skit on “Tribute to the Martyrs.” The children came in colourful dresses to represent the traditional costumes of different states of India. TTI students performed a dance on patriotic songs. After the program sweets were distributed to all the staff and students.
